What days do we distribute food?
“We host Fresh Alliance every Tuesday and the La Grande Food Bank on the last Saturday of the month.

Food Distribution Times

10:00 AM – 11:00 AM (** Times can vary a bit depending on when trucks arrive)
Food Bank: Last Tuesday of the Month

Volunteers Arrive 1 half hour early please.
What happens if a holiday falls on the last Saturday of the month.
Answer: *The Food Bank is held on the next-to-last Saturday whenever there is a holiday at the end of the month.
Example: In May, when Memorial Day falls on the last weekend, the Food Bank is the Saturday before that.
Did you know that you can use Northeastern Oregon Public Transit NEOPT to get to Fresh Alliance?
Answer: Yes you can, bring your own bag. Get off close to Walmart.

If you are using Dial-A-Ride(para transit) you must call before 3PM on Monday to schedule your ride.
Firewood & Woodlot FAQ
How does your emergency firewood assistance program work?
Answer: Up to one cord of emergency firewood is given away on a first come/first served basis. We give away firewood in the winter between November through April on the 2nd Saturday of the month between 9 and 12 AM or call 541 963 9126 for an appointment.
Where is the woodlot?
Answer: The woodlot is located at the end of North Umatilla Street in Lagrande.
Do you accept wood donations?
Answer: We gratefully accept firewood donations year around.
Do you need volunteers for the woodlot activities?
Answer: We welcome wood lot volunteers to help us with stacking, loading and cleanup. We also need help occasionally to go get donated wood.
